What we do.
How we do it.
Four trades. Twenty years of experience. From rough drywall to glass-smooth plaster, every job gets the same standard of work and the same direct communication.
Hang & Drywall
Sheetrock and blue board installation for new construction, additions, basements, and remodels. We hang for finishers who care.
Whether it's a single room or a whole house, we install drywall and blue board to the precision the next trade needs. Walls square. Corners tight. Screws hit the studs. No surprises when the plasterer or skim crew shows up.
We work with every standard size and thickness — 1/2", 5/8" fire-rated, moisture-resistant, blue board for veneer plaster systems. Ceilings and walls. Tight access or wide-open spaces.

Plastering
Veneer plaster, stucco, and textured finishes. Hand-troweled work that holds light the way painted drywall never can.
Plaster is what we love. There's a depth and a quality to a real plaster wall that you feel before you see — softer light, denser sound, walls that age into a building instead of away from it.
We work in modern veneer systems over blue board for new work, and we can restore or sympathetically match traditional plaster in older homes. Smooth finishes, sand finishes, knockdown textures, skip-trowel — whatever the project calls for, we know how to mix it and how to lay it.

Skim Coat
Level 5 glass-smooth finishes. For raking light, gloss paint, dark walls, and any project that has to look perfect.
If you're putting expensive paint on a wall — Farrow & Ball, Benjamin Moore Aura in a deep color, high-gloss anything — the substrate matters more than the paint does. Skim coat is what gets you there.
We skim over textured walls to bring them flat, over old plaster to bring it back, over tape-and-mud finishes that won't survive a Level 5 specification. Hand-troweled, sanded, primed-ready. Smooth enough that the only thing the wall is going to show is the paint.
- Level 5 finish
- Smooth-out textured walls
- Old plaster restoration
- Pre-paint prep
- Ceiling skim
- Patch blending
- Dark/gloss paint prep
- Whole-wall flatness
Patches & Repair
Holes, cracks, water damage, ceiling fixes. Texture matched, finish blended. Looks like it was never there.
Most patch work fails for one reason: the texture doesn't match. A clean square of perfect smooth on a knockdown wall might as well be a sign that says "patch was here." Real repair means matching what's around it — and most contractors won't slow down to do that.
We slow down. We test the texture before we mix it, we feather the edges into the old finish, and we don't leave until the patch reads as wall, not as patch. Same goes for water damage, ceiling cracks, anchor holes, mover's dents, and everything else that happens to walls.

Things people ask us.
Yes — always. We come look at the work in person, walk through what's involved, and send you a written quote within 24 hours. No pressure to commit on the spot, and no charge for the visit.
Drywall (also called sheetrock) is the panel that gets screwed to the studs. Plaster is the finish layer that goes over it — either a thin veneer over blue board for new work, or a thicker traditional system in older homes. Skim coat is a very thin smoothing layer that gets applied over an existing wall to bring it perfectly flat — usually before a high-end paint job.
A single-room patch and skim might be done in a day. A whole-house hang and plaster typically runs 1–2 weeks depending on size and finish. We give you a real timeline as part of the estimate — not a guess.
Yes — about half our work is commercial. Offices, retail buildouts, restaurants, multi-family. Same standards, same crew, same direct communication.
No minimum. A single patch, a hole from a TV mount, a cracked corner — if you need it done right, we'll come do it right. Small jobs are how we earn the big ones.
Yes — fully insured for residential and commercial work. We can provide a certificate of insurance for your project on request, which is especially useful for commercial GCs and property managers.
